Privacy Notice

AI Learning Library (ailearninglibrary.org), operated by David Welsh, Fort Myers, Florida. Contact: seenly721@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account: email, password (stored only as a secure hash), optional name and learning goals, birth year (to confirm age), and account type.
- Learning data: topics you choose, the course plans we build, module progress, and questions you ask the AI professor and its answers.
- Cookies: one cookie to keep your courses in this browser and one to keep you signed in. Both are strictly necessary. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
- Children: see our Children's Privacy Policy. Children under 13 can't create their own accounts; a parent adds them with verified consent.
How we use it
Only to run the service: build your courses, save your progress, answer professor questions, and enforce fair-use limits. We don't sell or rent personal information and don't show ads.
Who processes it
Our hosting and database providers, and our AI provider, which processes your course topics and professor questions to generate lessons and answers. They act for us and may not use the data for their own purposes beyond what their service terms allow. Read-aloud and speech input use your own browser's speech features; some browsers send speech audio to the browser maker to convert it to text.
Your choices
You can update your profile at any time. To get a copy of your data or delete your account, email seenly721@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days. Parents can export or delete a child's data instantly from the family dashboard.
Security and retention
Passwords are hashed, sign-in sessions use random tokens stored only as hashes, and all traffic uses HTTPS. We keep data while your account is active and delete it on request.
Changes
If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the date above. If a change affects children's data, we'll ask parents for new consent.
We prepare you; credentials are earned through the official provider. We are not a school, and completing our courses does not award a diploma, license, or credit.
